Since there is no need for payment follow-ups and no risk of uncollected receivables, related costs and risks can be significantly reduced.
A remittance statement will be issued, allowing you to confirm the details of collected payments.

For parcels with a product value of JPY 50,000 (excluding tax) or more, the required revenue stamp will be prepaid and collectively filed by our company, eliminating any cumbersome procedures.
(The cost of the revenue stamp will be deducted from the collected payment before remittance.)
We can also accommodate multi-piece parcels. By consolidating goods per delivery destination, you can use the service at a more economical rate.

Payment

You may choose between monthly or weekly closing.

Regarding the payment schedule for the proceeds collected by our company

※ Monthly closing: Closed on the first Thursday of each month. Payment is remitted on the following Tuesday.

※ Weekly closing: Payments collected from consignees by each Thursday are remitted on the following Tuesday.
If the scheduled payment date falls on a public holiday or bank holiday, the transfer will be made on the next business day.

Terms and Conditions for Using the Cash-on-Delivery (COD) Service

Important Notes

  1. Goods will only be delivered in exchange for cash payment.

  2. Your company (the seller) entrusts our company (the carrier) with the transportation of the goods and the collection and proxy receipt of the product payment.
    The consignee grants us the authority to receive, on behalf of your company, the payment owed to you.

  3. Please note that this service is not available in certain areas.

  4. In the following cases, the parcels will be returned to the sender with shipping charges to be paid upon delivery.

    • If the consignee does not accept the goods

    • If the delivery address stated on the shipping label does not exist

    • If the goods cannot be delivered within 7 days after arrival at the delivery branch due to the consignee’s circumstances

      ※ Even if the parcels is returned to the shipper, the COD services fee will still be charged.

  5. We do not handle hazardous materials, currency, negotiable securities, or similar items.

  6. We will confirm the type and nature of the goods.

  7. We reserve the right to refuse parcels that violate laws or public order and morals.

  8. Please be sure to inform our representative in advance if your parcels includes personal information, high-value goods, or items requiring special handling.

  9. The maximum liability for damages is set at JPY 1,000,000 for Kangaroo Cash on Delivery Service and JPY 300,000 for Cash on Delivery Parcel Service.

  10. If freight charges or other fees remain unpaid, they will be offset against the collected product payment.

  11. Once payment has been collected, we will not issue refunds at the request of the consignee.
